Don’t Miss: Rachel Maclean at Zabludowicz Collection Preview Thursday 16th January 2014

Rachel Maclean will present two videos at the Zabludowicz Collection as part of the Invites series (16th January – 23rd February). These are Over The Rainbow, 2013 (See Above) and The Lion and The Unicorn, a really strong work that deals with Scottish national identity, the Union with England, and is particularly pertinent with the upcoming referendum, on Sept 14th.

About The Artist
Rachel Maclean is a young Glasgow-based video artist who makes glowing, hyper-saturated videos using green screen technology and computer animation. Producing the costumes, make up and sets and playing all the characters herself, she creates disturbing yet hilarious pieces. She had a great 2013 as she received the Margaret Tait Award and was shortlisted for the Film London Jarman Award.
