Following on from the V&A’s ‘David Bowie is’ sell-out exhibition earlier year, another British cultural icon reveals his inspired universe and creative process to the public. Yesterday , ‘My Name is Paul Smith’ opened at the Design Museum (15th November 2013 – 9th March 2014). The exhibition draws on fashion designer Paul Smith’s personal archive, from the company’s beginnings in Nottingham to its long-lasting global prominence, as shaped by his eclectic references and influences. An array of talks and events have been planned throughout the exhibition’s duration, the first in the series is a Live Twitter Q&A with Paul Smith on 26th November, 3pm. Not to be missed!
