hUman ZoO installation forces viewers to confront common social stereotypes

Vienna-based performance collective God’s Entertainment created an installation called the Human ZOO, which featured homeless people, former criminals, punks and single mothers in cages and on display at Hamburg’s Kampnagel cultural center.

The live art installation was meant to showcase so-called “unwanted human urban people” and force viewers to face existing social stereotypes in a very explicit way.
