Crispin Chetwynd and Dudley Sutton Rough Cuts at Subway Gallery Art Preview Thursday 14th March 2013

An exhibition of linocut prints by Crispin Chetwynd and Dudley Sutton. Both found themselves delighted by the simplicity and impact of a way of creating not exercised since childhood. Crispin, is working themes that have become familiar to him: fascinated by insects, reptiles, saints and sinners, while Dudley illustrates his poem “TOMMY THE TOMCAT OF ST IVES.”

Crispin Chetwynd went to Chelsea College of Art and Design, Dudley Sutton, a national treasure with an acting career spanning over 50 years.
