Korean artist Seo Young Deok has been producing bicycle chain sculptures for years. using miles of metal chains.

The material is carefully welded to mimic the organic curves of a torso or fragments of a nose and eyes. One of his pieces of a giant 7-5 meter tall head was created from over £25,000 worth of chains. His work is informed by his interest in crowds at the metro or bus station – as well as elements of buddhist sculpture and paintings.
