Intel Corporation marked the launch of its 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ processors last week with TRIPTYCH, an installation created in collaboration with renowned design duo Hellicar & Lewis. The exhibition explored the intersection between art and technology, pushing the boundaries of technology and creativity to demonstrate the power of Intel’s groundbreaking new chips.
Fully powered by the latest generation of Ultrabooks™ Inspired by Intel®, the event used immersive installations to bring to life key elements of Intel’s new processors, including design, power & performance and security.
The new family of 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ processors includes advanced technologies that enable faster, smoother and richer PC and visual experiences.
Hellicar & Lewis, the collaborative creative duo charged with bringing the processors to life, said:
“To achieve the incredible effects needed to make our digital art fly we require robust, powerful technology. We were lucky enough to preview the latest 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ processor, and from day one we were impressed with the performance. The great thing about the increased processing ability is that it has allowed us to think more freely and creatively. We’ve been able to implement several different interactive effects simultaneously – from particle simulation to real time physics.
