Staying Strong (Positive and negative prints) Etchings in Copper.

Years of gathering, collecting and hoarding things have left me with a beautiful platform of materials to work from. I have always explored notions of memory and these now precious objects inform my current work, leading me to try and answer one of the many questions- why do we collect?
Our memories can sometimes be triggered through a number of things; sounds, words and imagery, but the importance of the collected object, and especially objects that are personal, not part of a collection, is something I am exploring.
My work is multi-disciplinary utilizing a range of processes and materials from painting and drawing to sculpture and printmaking.
