A rare opportunity to see Christian Marclay’s highly acclaimed film in its entirety. The Clock is a montage of clips from several thousand films, showing scenes featuring clocks and watches, or situations indicating a particular time of day. Presenting an extraordinary patchwork history of film, it also functions as an actual timepiece, always conveying the correct time, minute by minute, wherever it is shown.
The event is part of the programme for the Hayward Gallery’s current exhibition British Art Show 7: In the Days of the Comet
