ADAM NEATE: A NEW UNDERSTANDING at Elms Lester through to 21st November

Adam Neate’s eagerly anticipated second solo show
Best known for his use of cardboard and aerosol paint, this new series of paintings have taken on a 3D sculptural quality by further incorporating perspex, metal, collage and other sourced objects, demonstrating his innate understanding of composition, perspective and movement whilst still retaining his impeccable line.

Adam Neate will be in the gallery on Saturday 10th October between 11.00am and 1.00pm signing copies of the book published to accompany the exhibition. Elms Lester

disCONNECT – A ‘locked-down’ artist takeover

This was meant to be one great art party where urban artists would have been invited to take over the walls of a London townhouse prior to renovation. Then COVID-19 hit and disCONNECT turned into something even more exciting.

While the London based artists were able to install their works in situ – David Bray moved into one of the bedrooms which has become one of the most poignant responses to experiencing isolation – most of the international contributions had to be coordinated remotely.
