At Albert Studio Gallery
Full of movement and vitality, Nadja Solovieva’s very modern nudes seem to convey the humanity of her subjects. Stripped of the symbols of their roles as models, mothers, wives and workers, the innate beauty of the sitters is nonetheless rendered with gentleness and sensuality, as befits the artists preoccupation with the changing roles in society and the place of women in the modern world.
Whilst still a relatively young artist, Solovieva’s work is already in a number of respected private collections and has garnered considerable media attention in the US and her native Russia.
Exposed is an exhibition of nudes from various artist and genres and also includes pieces from Alex Atwater, Carinthia West, and Pattie Boyd
