Part2ism is best known for his pioneering photorealist graffiti in the late 80’s and early 90’s which inspired many of the worlds current crop of graffiti artists including Maclaim, New York’s TAT Crew and Connor Harrington who admits to “growing up in up in Ireland looking at Part2ism’s work in early Graphotism magazines”. After a 10-year commitment to the Ninja Tune recording label, Part2ism has been slowly re-establishing his art and is once again reaching the highs he reached with his art in the early 90’s. However, this time around, the art world has caught up and accepted street art as an art form.
