Fiona Hewitt at A&D gallery

Artefacts from the Dumpling Dynasty 13. Aug – 12. Sep 08
Fiona Hewitt’s international reputation is sustained by her unique illustrative fusion of traditional imagery and digital remix techniques. Although her rich color palette and the iconography of Chinese art and commerce reflect her fascination with the Orient, she retains the fanciful fairy tale elements of her Scottish heritage.

Fiona Hewitt is a graduate of Edinburgh College of Art she gained her MA at the Royal College of Art. She has worked as a freelance illustrator for the South China Morning Post, Hong Kong and has featured in the D&AD awards as well as the ultra prestigious American Illustrators Annual.

There is no dividing line between her fine art and her commercial art, because she retains control of both. We are delighted to be exhibiting her Paintings, Prints (including a new print “Kingdom of Happy Joy\”) and products from her ‘Dumpling Dynasty’ range. LINK
