following the unprecedented response to tinho’s recent participation in street art brazil at the embassy of brazil, london, we are proud to present his first uk solo show looking for myself. tinho is one of the pioneers of brazilian street art, a genre of huge importance and described by the times as ‘the most significant in the global urban art movement’. his accomplished and emotive work has earned him a worldwide following.

the innovation in brazilian graffiti is reminiscent of those heady days of new york’s graffiti boom, and artists all over the world are now looking to brazil as a source of inspiration
