ZOO ART FAIR 2006 13 – 15 October, 12 – 8.30 pm

ZOO ART FAIR RETURNS Zoo Art Fair returns to London Zoo for its third year as one of the most significant international platforms for emerging contemporary art talent.

This year, moving into a 1200 square metre marquee and featuring a total of 46 under 5-year-old commercial and non-commercial arts organisations, the Fair will once again be showcasing galleries, project spaces, artist collectives, curatorial groups and publications.

Continuing its focus and support of the local London and UK market, in 2006 Zoo Art Fair presents 31 UK exhibitors.

In addition, as the first installment of a new collaboration with VOLTAshow, Zoo Art Fair has invited the Basel satellite fair to co-select 15 international spaces. Combining Zoo Art Fair’s curatorial focus with VOLTAshow’s consolidated knowledge of the international scene, this year’s fair will provide a stage for young spaces from Berlin, Los Angeles and Mexico. The emphasis on regions, rather than individual galleries, will give visitors a representative view of the vibrancy and idiosyncrasy of the art scenes emerging in each place as well as supporting them as a whole.

The UK galleries are: from London Alexandre Pollazzon, Blow De La Barra, Bureau, Bearspace, David Risley Gallery, The Embassy, f a projects, FRED, The Great Unsigned, Hollybush Gardens, IBID projects, The International 3, Laura Barttlet Gallery, Mary Mary, M+R Gallery, MUSEUM 52, One in the Other, Rachmaninoff's, Riflemaker, Ritter/Zamet, STORE, studio1.1, T1+2, Trolley, Union, Workplace gallery.
