Chris Levine will be creating a site specific immersive light experience as part of the National Portrait Gallery’s event Late Shift Extra: Salon de Lumière. Levine is part of a selection of contemporary artists and performers who will occupy the gallery for the evening to pay homage to Man Ray, the original ‘Master of Light’. Visitors will get the chance to create their own artwork in light, take part in photo shoots, create their own photo portraits, drop into drawing classes, discuss science, philosophy and art with artists and astronomers, listen to live jazz and relax at the bar.
