Who needs Augmented Reality when you have Wurm Reality (W.R) the reality dreamt-up, created by Austrian artist Erwin Wurm? Now exhibiting at Yorkshire Sculpture Park with Trap of the Truth – his first UK museum exhibition.
The artist Erwin Wurn will drop his first NFT at 6pm CEST on August 30th on misa.art the open edition will be available for 24hrs for $999. The NFT named Breath In Breath Out brings his FAT SCULPTURES based on a Porshe to animated life.
Already it seems somewhat normal that Art Basel Miami and its numerous satellites were held online this year. That doesn’t mean the sun and parties and in-person experiences of art aren’t missed, but they’re not easy to get to anyway… Here are four works which interested me among the 2600 works ‘shown’:
Erwin Wurm: New Work encompasses the artist’s new group of ceramic works, which take the form of bodily abstractions; new works on paper; a new work in his Fat Car series; the latest in his humanoid Stone sculptures, which stand upright on legs; Polaroids recording recent One Minute Sculptures and live performances of a One Minute Sculpture on loan from Tate’s permanent collection.
