Pictet Group has been named the Official Partner of Paris Photo, marking a significant new collaboration between the investment group and the world’s leading photography fair. The partnership will debut at the 29th edition of Paris Photo, held at the Grand Palais from 12th–15th November 2026 (preview 11th November), with a dedicated exhibition celebrating the Prix Pictet.
The announcement marks a major milestone for Pictet Group, whose support for photography has centred around the Prix Pictet, the photography and sustainability award it founded in 2008. For the first time in the prize’s history, Prix Pictet will have its own dedicated presence within Paris Photo, occupying a central position inside the Grand Palais.
The inaugural presentation will feature a curated selection of works by previous Prix Pictet laureates, bringing together photographers whose practices address environmental and societal issues through the lens of contemporary photography. The exhibition will include works spanning subjects from climate change and environmental degradation to mass consumption and its impact on the natural world.

Since its launch, Prix Pictet has become widely recognised as the leading global award dedicated to photography and sustainability. More than 5,600 photographers have been nominated across eleven award cycles, while touring exhibitions have attracted over 1.5 million visitors worldwide, appearing at institutions including the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the Palais de Tokyo in Paris.
The dedicated Paris Photo exhibition will feature a curated selection of works by previous laureates. Past Prix Pictet winners include Nadav Kander, Mitch Epstein, Richard Mosse, Sally Mann, Gauri Gill and the most recent winner, Alfredo Jaar, whose 2025 series The End received the Prix Pictet’s Storm award.
The announcement comes ahead of the next chapter in the prize’s history, with the theme for the 12th Prix Pictet due to be revealed during Rencontres d’Arles in July 2026. The shortlist will be announced in 2027, before the winner is revealed at London’s Victoria and Albert Museum in September that year.
