FAD has just pulled together announcements from some of the Museums and public galleries set to reopen over the following few months in London.
The Royal Academy Reopening to Friends of the Royal Academy on Thursday 9 July and to the public on Thursday 16th July. More
Tate today announced that it plans to reopen all four of its galleries on 27th July 2020. People will once again be able to visit the national collection of art on display at Tate Britain, Tate Modern, Tate Liverpool and Tate St Ives, featuring hundreds of artworks from across the centuries and around the world. The Foundling Museum 8th July 2020 ‘Portraying Pregnancy: from Holbein to Social Media’ the first exhibition to explore the representation of the pregnant female body in portraiture, over 500 years. More
Barbican Art Gallery 13th July 2020 Barbican Art Gallery will welcome visitors back to Masculinities: Liberation through Photography from Monday 13 July 2020, with the show’s run being extended until 23 August 2020. A Countervailing Theory, the first-ever UK commission from Toyin Ojih Odutola, will open in The Curve on Tuesday 11 August 2020. More
