Experience dance in a new way, through sound. Join visual artist Jesc Bunyard as she invites dancer Elinor Lewis to create a work performed in the dark. Bunyard noticed how music covers up the sounds of the dancers during performances, and in doing so masks the physical and emotional effort that the dancers exert.
In Aural.Effect, Bunyard aims to draw attention to the effort of dance and movement through Elinor Lewis’ improvisation of a performative dance piece in the dark.
