MINI has unveiled its “Citysurfer” concept at the LA Auto Show an electric scooter that folds up in half providing increased mobility in congested areas. The electric two-wheeler weighs in at just 18 kg, and features a thumb-operated accelerator and gearless hub motor in the rear wheel. The Citysurfer can reach speeds of up to 25km/h and has a lithium-ion battery permanently installed, which can be charged using a 12-volt automobile or household socket.
