Tomorrow, Let’s Be Brief (LBB) are launching their new curated professional development programme: the LBB Pop-Up School.
From start-ups to seasoned professionals, the LBB Pop-Up School will provide training, insight and inspiration for creative industry.

The Pop-Up School’s first residency will take place at The Print House, Dalston, in London’s East End during the 17-28th March 2014.

“Running a creative business is one big learning curve and can be all consuming. Creative industry is changing at an ever-faster pace as it is often at the forefront of innovation – both technologically and culturally. These challenges can make it difficult to make time for the broader learning that can help develop a business to ultimately stay relevant.
Let’s Be Brief [Pop-Up School] is a platform for learning. We understand the problems that creative SME’s face and places where they work – which is why we pop up exactly where we’re needed”

Ansel Neckles – LBB co-founder

Designed & delivered by creative industry practitioners, the bespoke syllabus will range from evening master classes to one-day sessions, delving into a range of topics such as business model & value proposition, brand building, DIY coding, music production delivered by CDR, photographic re-touching and business trends/insights with Courier.

This two-week knowledge extravaganza will also host a series of talks with industry practitioners. Come and discuss topics such as the future of sustainable design (hosted by Good Design blogger Joseph Maduma), why ‘mobile is massive’ with tech journalist Kirsty Styles and building creative communities on and off line with the founders of NTS Radio and People of Print.

LBB Pop-Up School will launch with an open evening on March 5th for learners to hear more from the organisers Let’s Be Brief and their partners, London Fusion and Bootstrap Company.

“London is home to a fast-growing network of exciting businesses in the digital and creative spheres. Working with LBB we hope to support many more businesses in the Dalston area.”

— Andre Lecointe-Gayle, SME Growth Manager for London Fusion

The launch night will feature guest speakers from the world of finance, with crowdfunding platform Indiegogo, RBS (BOO!) and Start-up Direct, who will be discussing how their respective organisations help support creative industry.
