Tune in to Channel 4 tonight at 00:55AM for : A Flowering Theory by Stephanie Posavec.

As part of Protein’s ongoing series for the late night disruptive arts strand, A Flowering Theory is a visual journey through one of the most influential texts in scientific literature, Charles Darwin’s On the Origin of Species.

Created in collaboration between acclaimed designer Stefanie Posavec and animator Abbie Stephens, the film explores the words of Darwin’s book. Translated by the artists into botanical form and animated with paper, the film culminates in a stunning visualisation of the text.
