“Although our hands and eyes sire us as artists, it is our souls that make us breathe and create, that what makes us speak through canvass, paper or sculpture.
They are our inner voices.”
‘Inner Voices’ confronts the viewer with raw emotion, depth, incredible vibrancy and an explosion of colour. This forthcoming exhibition is comprised of works by ten artists descending mainly from Spanish or Latin American culture who have made their mark in the contemporary art world of New York, the US and in their respective countries of origin, such as Mexico, Venezuela, Gran Canaries and mainland Spain. All of these works have a quality of expression and rendition of passion that presents a stark contrast to art habitually seen in our more northern latitudes. This exhibition is a testimony to how deeply our cultural roots can affect creativity and expression, yet making us aware that we sometimes have to look beyond our own origins and open our eyes to the universal language of art.
This is a truly spectacular display that is brimming over with life and a distinct taste of contemporary Hispanic art.
