New D*Face mural unveiled in New York

A major new permanent public artwork is being installed in New York City. The 100ft by 50ft mural entitled ‘Save The World’ was created by British Street Art luminary D*Face, and is situated on a prominent intersection on Eagle Street, Brooklyn, overlooking New York’s East River.

Damien Hirst, Paul Fryer, David Bailey and Joana Vasconcelos are the latest artists to confirm participation in Art Wars – an exhibition of Stormtrooper helmets transformed into works of art by artists including Yinka Shonibare, Inkie, Mat Collishaw, Mr.BrainWash, Ben Eine, Antony Micallef, Oliver Clegg and Jake and Dinos Chapman.

New York City is now the home of this latest mural from D*Face curated by Corey Helford Gallery to coincide with their show at SCOPE . D*Face merged a bright colour palate with comic-like imagery for this large scale painting.
