Digital Art ready for your consumption #WTFisDigitalArt

Digital Art is new, it’s confusing what is digital art and what isn’t and where is the border between pretty digital pictures and art. Also how do you sell digital art, how do you collect it, and how do you enjoy it when offline? Good news is that there is some cool experimentation happening. Here is my roundup:

#1 Seditions

Ever wanted a Hirst or Tracey original? Well now you can have it on your phone with Seditions, it’s is an app that allows you to buy and trade digital works.

#2 FRAMED

A startup that launched via Kickstarter, FRAMED is a digital screen/frame built for one sole purpose to display digital work.

#3 Curater by Acne

Similar to FRAMED in that Curater is a digital frame/canvas (however you want to call it), but very different in that it offers a curated experience. Rather than buying a digital frame and then searching for digital art to download, you get a curated exhibition.
