SOMETHING FOR THE WEEKEND: The RCA Christmas Fete Is back !

Now in it’s third successful year the Royal College of Art’s Christmas Fete is back and bigger than ever. This year the traditional indoor market will offer Christmas drinks and delicacies as well as a public programme of festive performances and events running alongside stalls where shoppers can find unique gifts with a difference. On Sunday 7 December there will be a Parents and Children’s Day dedicated to family festivities.

Organised by the RCA Students’ Union, the aim of the Fête is to sell affordable and original art and design pieces by the College’s students and graduates to help support and encourage their practice.

This year’s offerings range from £2 to £200 and include crocheted Christmas cards; fabric vases; textured pottery; bright geometric prints; pole dancing inspired ceramics; edgy metallic accessories; bespoke jewellery and hand-printed scarves.

InnovationRCA pop-up presents a curated selection of products to buy for Christmas.

Opening this week 7th-8th December, Introducing… is a pop-up event by InnovationRCA, the Royal College of Art’s centre for entrepreneurship, which will showcase products from a curated selection of creative start-ups, from sectors such as jewellery, fashion, homeware, ceramics and textiles all of whom have progressed through the Creative Brands Accelerator programme over the past 3 years.

GN3RA, The world’s first fashion metaverse for creators in collaboration with the Royal College of Art Fashion MA programme to offer bespoke digital creations by 7 leading RCA Fashion Alumni for GN3RA creators to co-design, wear and share on the platform.
