unnamed
From dusk to dawn Until Monday 11th August 2014 Victoria Tower Gardens, Westminster, SW1P 3JA

You may already have seen ArtAngel’s latest project in London’s night sky. spectra is a 10 mile high column of light by Ryoji Ikeda, co-commissioned by 14-18 NOW and the Mayor of London to commemorate 100 years since the outbreak of World War One.

spectra was first illuminated on Monday evening and can be seen from dusk until dawn every night until dawn on Monday 11th August. At its source in Victoria Tower Gardens is a grid of 49 high powered search lights and a sound composition that visitors are invited to walk among.

Don’t miss your chance to experience spectra up close, it will only be in London for another three nights. Entry to Victoria Tower Gardens is free and the park is open 24 hours.
