The Other Art Fair 2011

The Other Art Fair is London’s newest contemporary art fair showing 100 of the most talented and unrepresented artists. The fair acts as a platform to give chosen artists the opportunity further their careers by meeting with many of London’s gallerists, collectors, dealers, journalists and curators as well as selling work directly to buyers whilst retaining 90% from the sale.

The Other Art Fair is specifically for unrepresented artists looking to further their careers. Unrepresented or unsigned simply means the artist does not have an exclusive contract with a gallery in the UK.

Statistics from 2011

4,300 art buyers came to the fair over the four days
1,200 visited the private view
Over £120,000 was spent on art at the fair plus thousands more after
One artist sold 65 pieces worth over £10,000
Guests attended from London’s major galleries and museums plus many dealers and collectors were seen walking the floor.
18 artists got approached by galleries
“As a result of The Other Art Fair I met representatives from many galleries interested in my work. As a result I’m now showing with Scream in Mayfair and Rove in Hoxton Square. I really couldn’t have had a better result if I had scripted it myself. Hope to get involved next year, really glad I took part!”
