Eyes in the Colours of the Rain, this strong dance piece is inspired by William Blake’s poem Night, and the texts is related to St John’s Vision (The Book of Revelation).

Eyes in the Colours of the Rain is a blistering piece that lays bare the painful collision between soul and physical material. It is a performance in which physical structures are continually destroyed and rebuilt, to reveal a life locked away. Though highly self-reflective, the piece is also a statement on consensus in a broader sociological and political sense.

RootlessRoot company was formed in 2006 in Greece by Linda Kapetanea and Jozef Frucek, after having worked with Wim Vandekeybus’ Ultima Vez Company. Their language of expression is chaotic, raw, and in opposition to what surrounds them, culturally and politically. They believe that the body can still, even in a broken society, express the innermost desires, feelings and visions.
